“I would like to be able to breathe — to be able to love her by memory or fidelity. But my heart aches. I love you continuously, intensely.” — Camus

So, girl, you tell me, what if you find a person who loves you with all his heart? What are you going to do with a man who loves like a woman? I mean aren’t traits such as nurturance, sensitivity, sweetness, supportiveness, gentleness, warmth, passivity, cooperativeness, expressiveness, modesty, humility, empathy, affection, tenderness, and being emotional, kind, helpful, devoted, and understanding have been cited as stereotypically feminine? What if the man who you love is exactly that? Would you feel special to have some like above or just miserable for having nothing to chase?

I feel like deep down women want to chase men and they want that mysteriousness men keep.

If the above is true then I wonder what’ll happen with the ones who are kind as fuck, transparent, affectionate, attentive, available, expressive, and who love without any limits. What if a man ends up giving his 100% to you? Will you get bored of his love? Most probably yes because over the course of centuries, women have tolerated cold, ruthless treatment and they almost expect it by now. Or maybe not. I hope I’m wrong.

But still, I’m curious, there might be someone out there who likes that transparency, who reciprocates that kindness, and that love… There must be a woman out there who loves to have her lover repetitively remind her how much he adores her. There must be a woman out there who loves being the subject of a man’s poetry. Someone who loves to read his written imaginations about her and just her.

It’s dark, utter darkness, but I have my lantern, I’ll keep looking…
